Role description
We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Production Head to lead the production
operations at CS. The Production Head will be responsible for overseeing the entire
process from pre-production to post-production, while managing resources, schedules,
and budgets. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of film production,
strong leadership skills
The Production Head will be responsible for the following:
- Developing detailed production plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with
creative teams, aligning with project objectives - Coordinate and allocate production resources, including crew, equipment, locations,
and transportation, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness - Monitor production budgets, track expenses, and make informed decisions to manage
costs without compromising quality - Manage day-to-day operations on set, ensuring that production activities adhere to
schedule - Lead and motivate production teams, including technical crew, artisans, and support
staff, to achieve project goals - Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to secure necessary equipment,
props, costumes, and other production essentials - Collaborate with location scouts to identify suitable filming locations, obtain necessary
permits, and manage logistics - Negotiate agreements, contracts, and licenses with vendors, service providers, and
crew members\ - Maintain clear communication with key stakeholders, including directors, producers,
and clients, to provide updates and address concerns - Collaborate with post-production teams to ensure a smooth transition from shooting
to editing and final deliver
Role requirements
- 8 – 10years experience in production roles, including leadership and project management
- In-depth knowledge of film production processes, including pre-production, shooting, and
post-production stages - Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering collaboration among diverse
teams - Proficiency in budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation
- Leadership skills, with the ability to guide and motivate production teams
- Strong decision-making skills and strategic thinking to balance creative and logistical
considerations
