Role description
We are looking for Creative Producers who are excited to join the team & drive our long
form projects that aims towards theatrical and OTT sales and distribution as well as contribute
to the studio’s core growth.
- Engaging with the core editorial team on shortlisting future topics and formats, staying
abreast with audience insights, suggesting creative explorations across formats
and genres, etc. - Identifying new projects and sourcing of new projects
- Reach out to various producers to evaluate opportunities for coproduction projects
- Lead the full life-cycle of a project, including creative development, scripting, preproduction,
budgeting, production and release - Review as well as conduct research towards the development of concepts and
scripts - Liaise with the in-house research team to meet writers’ research requirements basis
the concept and script development process - Develop new and fresh concepts towards long-form content such as films, web series,
docuseries - Identifying new writers to be associated with projects
- Actively contribute to the writers’ room discussions at ideation stage, and develop
scripts with writers via referencing, feedbacking, etc. to ensure scripts are creatively
sound, relevant to our target audience in line with studio objectives - Engage the crew for direction, pre-production and post-production; work with the inhouse/
external Line producer to leverage professional networks and assemble the
crew which can deliver high quality and efficiencies - Work alongside in-house/ external production team to liaise with key external collaborators
such as external writers, Acting Talent, Art, Costume, DI, Music, Casting,
Graphics, etc., ensure the creative vision is aligned through the pre and post production
cycle via briefings, feedbacking, revisions, etc., ensure good relations are maintained
with different vendors for future projects - Work with the legal team towards review of legal contracts and coordination with talent,
crew, co-producers, platforms etc. towards closure of legal agreements - Work with the accounts and finance team towards any coordination with talent, crew,
co-producers, platforms etc. towards closure of accounting and finance processes - Work with the marketing and social media teams to strategize the overall marketing
and social media campaign for the project release
Role requirements
- Creative Producer with minimum 6-8 years of proven work experience in creative
production for long form projects - Interested in and passionate about social change and using media towards creating
impact - Proven experience in creative production of long form projects where they have participated
in writers room discussions and managed creative processes with external
and internal teams across multiple departments - Ability to work with research material and creatively develop content based on research
insights and studios social impact objectives - Good film-making knowledge with regards to writing, camera, and editing techniques
and ability to work with various production departments - A team player with collaboration and leadership skills; can plan ahead for smooth
running for the project - Excellent communication skills, active problem solving approach and a ‘doer’ attitude
is essential - Strong crew network in pre- and post- production (production houses, line producers,
casting, Art, music, DI, graphics), and creative (writers, directors, editors, etc.)
fields - Willingness to work with marketing and social media teams to help plan the release
and outreach/distribution of content - Well versed with trends on Indian social media, Internet culture and popular culture
- Must be bilingual (Hindi/English)
